Stiff rope

Stiff Rope from Mr Magic 

This is reminiscent of the famous Indian Rope Trick. You show a coiled rope. When you then unroll the rope, stretch the rope between your two hands and pretend to cast a spell on the rope. Dramatically release one end of the rope from one hand. The rope stays in the same position, stiff as a stick! 
You can also hold the rope in the middle when it is stiff. With a little care, you can get the rope to be almost vertical. You just blow the rope and it falls down limply again. You can use this effect as a standalone effect or combine with other effects. The rope can be used as a comic prop or a demonstration of the aforementioned Indian rope trick. Note that it cannot be made rigid in a totally vertical position. Stiff Rope is about 30 inches long and made with fairly thick white rope that makes it visible from a distance. This magic trick is very easy to perform!
